Keep In Mind

So, you have chosen your Photographer! Here are a few things to keep in mind after hiring them. :) I hope you find these helpful!

It's Worth the Money

Remember that you are going to get your money's worth from these photographs. Most photographers charge a lot for their services for good reason. Great photos require careful attention to lighting, composition, and careful post- processing. The photographer's highest priority is to make you, the client, extremely happy with your photos.

Time of Session

Photographers normally prefer to take photographs in soft light. These times are between 7:00am-10:00am and 3:30pm-5:00pm. (during daylight savings time 6:00pm-8:00pm.) This is how we achieve the best light for our photographs! Always keep these times in mind when it comes to scheduling your photo shoot.

Be Respectful

This definitely applies to wedding ceremonies and events. Please, discourage flash photography at events where a paid photographer is taking well thought out, high quality photographs for the client. It is a distraction to others and can ruin the exposure of the images that the photographer is taking. Thank you for being considerate and please inform your guests in some way shape or form at the ceremony/event of this. A simple sign that says "Please, no flash photography during the ceremony." would be perfect!

Do NOT Print Using Walgreens

Please, NEVER use Walgreens or CVS to print your images. This is because the color quality and contrast of your images will decrease immensely. If you would like fresh, beautiful, clean, and accurately colored images hanging from your wall or mantel, please contact me, or use a professional printing lab to do so.
